Sensara combines hands-on soft tissue therapy with a considered understanding of anatomy, movement and recovery.
Each treatment is designed with purpose, using the techniques most appropriate to your needs, whether the focus is muscular tension, movement, recovery, pregnancy, lymphatic support or simply helping your body feel more comfortable and capable.
A considered approach to hands-on therapy
-
A targeted treatment combining sports massage, remedial techniques and soft tissue work to help ease muscular tension, support recovery and improve comfortable movement.
It can be a good choice if you’re active, training regularly, dealing with recurring areas of tightness or restriction, or simply feeling the physical effects of work and everyday life. Treatment can focus on specific areas that need attention while still taking the wider body into account.
-
A slow, focused treatment using firm, controlled pressure to work into deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue, helping to ease built-up tension, stiffness and areas that feel tight or overworked.
Ideal if you prefer a firmer style of massage or want dedicated time spent working gradually through muscular tension caused by training, desk-based work, travel, stress or the physical demands of everyday life.
-
A restorative, therapeutic treatment designed to support the body through periods of physical fatigue, stress, increased activity or ongoing muscular discomfort.
Using tailored soft tissue and fascial techniques at a slower, more considered pace, Recovery Massage can help ease tension, support comfortable movement and give the body time to rest and recover. It can also be a good option if you need a gentler, more adaptable approach to treatment.
-
A supportive, carefully adapted treatment for mums-to-be and new mums, designed around the changing physical demands of pregnancy and the postnatal period.
Pregnancy & Postnatal Massage can help ease muscular tension, back and hip discomfort, postural strain and general fatigue, while providing time to rest and feel more comfortable in your body. After birth, treatment can also support areas commonly affected by feeding, carrying and caring for a new baby.
-
A gentle, specialised treatment using light, rhythmical techniques to support the body’s natural lymphatic flow and encourage healthy fluid movement.
MLD can be particularly helpful if you’re experiencing mild fluid retention, puffiness, heaviness or fatigue, and is also well suited to those looking for a slower, calming treatment. Because suitability can depend on your health and individual circumstances, some medical conditions may require clearance before treatment.
